Recorded in Late 1991 at Big Beat Studios, Melbourne, Australia and released in early 1992, Penis was the very first demos The Bugbears recorded.
"Dog eat Dog" "Blind Eye" "Rather stay in Bed" and "Runnin" were recorded at Big Beat and mixed by John Greenshirt, while
"Flamenco Dancer" and "The Tribal Song" were recorded in the living room at a rehearsal on a boombox.
